Sant Miquel de Balansat village
Another friendly and traditional village in the north part of the island of Ibiza. It’s San Miguel (Sant Miquel de Balansat). Located to 5.5 km from Sant Joan de Labritja. It has grown in the past years due to touristic development, although it still remains very authentic and traditional.
You can find all kinds of shops, craft workshops as The Jewelry Factory and many services along its main street. The most popular and interesting attraction is its church and the site where its located. A typical fortified Ibicenco church from the 15th Century, built on the top of a hill, and as well as in the case of Santa Eulalia’s church, it’s known as Puig de Missa. From the top of the hill you can enjoy marvelous views over the most ibicenco rural landscapes and a great overview of the town. At the foot of the church, in a typical Ibizan house is located La Luna Nell’Orto, a restaurant of tasty Italian cuisine.
